bGreen are a specialist renewable energy and energy saving company. They focus on heating, lighting and power production. They use technologies like Solar Thermal, Solar PV, Heat pumps, Interseasonal Stores, Waste Heat Recovery, LED , Induction Lighting, Wind and Hydro Turbines.

The client had strong ideas on how the identity should form itself and was in urgent need of some design applications, namely packaging for a range of bulbs that were soon to ship from their supplier overseas.

A quick resolvement of their identity led swiftly to a series of box packaging solutions. An updatable tender template followed along with some other day-to-day applications. The future is bright the future is green or bGreen in this case.

what a mug!

So there I was designing a mug recently and found myself thinking more about the situations a mug might find itself in rather than the corporate branding approach that needed to be applied to give this mug its personality… So the humble mug… sits at the most powerful and influential tables around the world, it puts a smile, comforts and satisfies on all sorts of  levels, It’s a reconcilator, a social tool a way of bringing people together, it crosses all barriers, colours and creeds, it’s a negotiator. It gets closer to the most beautiful women of the world than many of us ever will (Our Al being the exception of course)

So how do you become as talented and wanted as a mug? Strip back your layers and become simple and truthful to your purpose? or jazz it up and become a super slick cup with lots of personality, I like the latter and found a few cups with the same idea…

So when your seating in your next high powered meeting, you might think to suggest a cup with a little more personality!
